In this piece, I set out to capture the surprising complexity of the "all-white" elements, revealing the subtle shades of pale yellow and green within the chrysanthemums, alongside the shimmering, reflected colors dancing across the porcelain teapot. Creating a strong contrast between the soft yet distinctive texture of the chrysanthemum petals and the smooth, reflective surface of the ceramic was a deeply satisfying triumph. To complement the bouquet, I delighted in rendering the lemons in a vibrant juicy yellow, providing a lively counterpoint to the velvety, deep-violet carnations. I also created a crackled texture on the carnations to further emphasize the interplay between soft, tactile, and polished surfaces throughout the composition.
